Staff: It appeared our waitress was more interested in chatting up the host than she was tending to her single table of patrons. So much that I got up and went to the bar to try and get refills. Which ended up being a waste of time as the "bar tender" was too busy hitting on a guy at the bar, telling him about her living situation...seriously I know more about her living situation than I care to, just from standing at the bar for a few minutes while she told her life story to a patron. There was a waitress from another section who came over to bring us water, and actually checked on us, I'd have gladly tipped her, my waitress was one of the worst I've had in years.
If I could give a negative -800 i would! I am SO extremely pissed and dissatisfied with this "restaurant". The food took too long, only 2 tables of customers (less than 10 people). The food was cold, gross, and was incomplete . The waitress served 1/2 of our table, which was 2 people, and the meal she served was incomplete. Run away people. DO NOT give this establishment your money. It was a $50 tab that should have been discounted or something but nope I had to pay full price for a nasty experience. Also DO NOT order the asparagus, you only get 2.
Just came out for drinks and dinner as we usually do a couple times a month. We suffer mojitos because it’s a short walk from out apartment but I finally will write my review as a frequent client. There is little consistency with some items on the menu. We ordered the same plate 15 minutes apart and had different looking plates missing ingredients listed on the menu without explanation. Servers often are new and untrained, as well as frequently changing. We’ve had several complain of the managers methods personally. Tonight we ordered and asked the server a simple request if we could substitute an appetizer for two sides. We received an ok for the meal as requested. When we got the bill we were charged with the appetizer. We never received clarification on the extra charge nor explanation that this request could not be met. We brought this up to the server along with the price change of an item the deviled eggs not corrected on the menu but only in the final bill. She went to get manager to speak to us and long story short, she placed blame on the untrained server and us. Refused us a refund and rudely and abruptly walked away with a good night and left us the bill. I let her know that this was poor customer service and that we were frequent clients, no difference.
Chips and Salsa: decent. Luckily our chips weren't stale based on other reviews. Salsa was okay, certainly not the best in Odessa.
The atmosphere is very modern and clean. Great service from our waitress also!
Had my visit yesterday been my first visit, my review would be a 1 star.
The drinks and appetizers also very delicious! The dinner was not up to par with every thing else. The tortilla soup and chili verde were not good.... Will go back for Mix drinks but not dinner.
I hate this for two reasons. One I like the proximity of the place and usually am ok with the poor service, the second is the lack of courtesy to the client. How much are you hurting as a business when you have to resort to treating a client and staff like this. We are going to think twice about coming here again and certainly will have to read the fine print in the menu so that we may not make a mistake again.
Food was over priced and wasn't good at all. I regret going here. Service was bad too. Will never come back.
Drinks: fairly sure they were non-alcoholic. Given the price that's disappointing.
This place is very hit and miss. Sometimes it's great, others it's mediocre at best.
I'm not planning a trip to let them redeem themselves.
Food: quesadilla was decent, a bit on the bland side. Shrimp tacos were more spicy than they were flavorful. Definitely nothing to write home about.
