To much time waiting
If there's more than 2 ppl in store don't bother
Always over staffed, under trained barista's. Both times I went there, I had to walk the barista through making my drink, as they are apparently not properly trained.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I agree with the other reviewer that these baristas have no proper training whatsoever. FYI do not sit there and tell me a cold brew coffee is the same as an iced americano. All I wanted was a triple shot americano over ice with a little room. Even the "manager" had no idea what an americano is. If you must go here for a mid day caffeine fix just get one of those giant frappuccinos that have 1200 calories, should be easy enough to blend ice and espresso and add a crap load of chocolate caramel etc etc etc....well here's to hoping anyway. PS I'm a coffee shop owner and have been a barista most of my life. All I wanted was some decent coffee while I did my errands. Then acting like a turd because I didn't like what I didn't order isn't really appropriate.
If not might get lucky
Food safety is a bit of a concern here. When I worked here, most people used their phones on the job when there was cleaning that couldve been done. Counters thick with syrup, dust, and general wipe down/ floor care. I ended up in an oil field job after maybe 2 weeks of working here, so thats bad on me, but if you do go i would suggest 1) a frap or 2) an americano. Please be nice to your baristas, they dont make oodles of money and most of them are college/ highschool kids. If you dont want to deal with inexperienced youth then simply go somewhere else. Imagine if you had kids and someone was berating them for messing up on a drink they were just learning.
I actually worked here, so inside scoop of why everyone says the baristas are undertrained. Most of the baristas get paid minimum wage or so, not horrible since there is room for a bump if you do well, but your "training" is typically 1 day. You dont get to take the drink-making recipes home so unless you've been there awhile theres very little chance you know what youre doing. For many, this is either their first coffee job or 2nd, the manager i worked under was orginally the retail manager. She is overworked most of the time since she is the only manager (when i was there).
