Been staying here since the beginning of the year. Great place to stay. Staff are super friendly, grass stays cut, spots stay clean, and the internet is decent enough to stream movies. Definitely a nice little Oasis out in Midland/Odessa.
I am writing in response to the negative reviews about this park. Especially directed toward Pamela Rock. I am a current employee of the RV Park and I can ensure you that the owner (Kenny) is not what he has been accused of. First off, He would not steal anything. He owns a popular RV Park in West Texas. If he needed something he could just go buy it. Secondly, these people owe the park well over $700.00 including fines for not picking up after their dog. They were warned several times to do so. I know for a fact that when the owner talked to them about the bill with a Deputy Sheriff present. They told both the owner and the Deputy Sheriff that they had no intentions of paying their bill. They snuck out in the middle of the night without a word and no attempt to pay their bill. Please remember, there are two sides to every story.
All in all a great park. Very well maintained, nice facilities, friendly staff, easy access. My only problem was the no refund policy. Which is completely understandable, but if you're in the tanking/pipeline industry, you don't know how long you're going to be somewhere most times. Our job was supposed to be two weeks and turned into over a month. We ended up paying way more than what we should of. Id stay here again for sure, but Id recommend knowing exactly how long you'll be staying or you'll be out money.
You will never find owners that are so kind. They will help you with whatever they can. This is the cleanest and most secure place to stay. Been in this park for over 4 years and I just can't say enough good about it.
I've read some reviews and I've got to say that this place is very well kept and the staff is always friendly. I've been here four days and have no complaints. So thank you for my visit. I'd love to stay here again. The negatives could not, by any means, be directed towards anyone I've met.
