So I'm here waiting 2 months without my medications and I'm here at home feeling tired, weak, moody, and getting the life suck out of me while I wait.
The wait time at the waiting area is reasonable.
And they want to charge unreasonable $25 just to write a prescriptions because they won't get their lazy asses up unless you pay them.
I really like Dr. Gonzalez and he seems to really care....but as soon as you leave his office you are forgotten! No follow up at all! Supposed to call me with x-ray results...three weeks later I finally call them. I need a prescription refilled...CVS has been sending faxes for 3 days...I finally call them today , 2nd time, and finally get a nurse at 2:45 who tells me their fax machine is broke so they haven't been getting faxes. I asked what do I need to do then and she said to just come by and pick up a new prescription. I asked what time do you close today and she says 3. Well hell...I can't get there in 15 minutes. I'm out of my diabetic meds tomorrow. So now what? Terrible terrible terrible!
This seems particularly unfair because the patients then have to pay the $10, $25 or $60 copay to fill the prescription.
The staff doesn't know how to handle pre-authorization very well. They don't read the specifications on lab requirements on labs.
He is the best Dr. I've ever visited! He is very knowledgeable and will answer any question you have. He never makes you feel rushed. I highly recommend this practice.
Worst ever. Had to call 3 times a day for 2 days to get my prescription sent to the pharmacy. I go back and the lady tells me my appointment is for tomorrow. I called to speak to the nurse and she tells me my appointment is on Friday not tomorrow. Then she says I can go get my EKG that it will be $25. I go and then I'm told nothing is in my record and I would have to see the dr to get my EKG results.
