Oh dear me. I should have read the reviews before I bothered to jump in my car to go to this GNC. James was RUDE as all get up. It was a rainy day and when I showed up at 10:15am the store's lights were still dim. An employee was NOWHERE to be found. I picked my products and was ready to check out but there was no one to help me. I tried calling the store to get some movement in there, but no luck. He, James (I was sure to get his name so I could tell corporate when I called), finally came out and informed me that he was still closed and wouldn't be open for another 15 minutes. Needless to say, he wasn't going to let me pay for my items and was very short with me. I left... and won't go back. Ever.
Total rip off. The membership card only works the first seven days of the week. But in reality the prices are lower during non membership card days. If you crunch out the math, you really only save $1 or $2 if you go through the trouble of using your membership card. if GNC would do a better job hiding their prices, maybe I would not be as disappointed. I rather save my gas and buy online, instead of driving out to the mall and deal with rude "consultants.: I would recommend any store regardless of price, if the customer service was superb. But sadly it is terrible. It seems to me the manager sits around all day and only gets up to ring customers up. For some reason, she heavily shoves GNC vitamins in every sales pitch despite my answer of no, no, and NO. I got fed up with the program and left. I totally would NOT recommend.
I gave this place 4 stars simply because of good customer service. I hate most gnc stores. Never have what I am looking for and the staff are most likely rude and pushy plus there over priced. But I'm stuck in Fort stockton texas for work and ran out of the basics (protein, creatine and preworkout.)so I found this place. Good customer service and they had everything I was looking for or recommended substitute. I will most likely shop here again if I get stuck in west texas
