It was an ok hotel with a good breakfast, but the beds were super hard.
Under the thin plastic veneer, lies the true state of Holiday Inn Express. Nothing more than a poorly constructed attempt at elegance and chic, this hotel has multiple glaring faults. The glass shower is barely able to hold water and dribbles like a senile octogenarian. The Internet randomly disconnects whenever it feels like. On top of all this, the most glaring offense would have to be the presence of multiple insects. I distinctly remember one the size of a pygmy chihuahua that scuttled along the floor during breakfast. A scorpion also perched by the elevator in an attempt to slay any unsuspecting guests. While these pests are quite detestable, the complete and utter lack of complimentary cookies cements my view that this hotel is worthy of only two stars.
Room was dirty. The front desk staff were rude in the mornings. The towels for pool were the size of a hand towel. Only gave one towel. Very disappointed in my overall stay.
This hotel is well maintained. Fitness room needs improved maintaince.
They do get breakfast out pretty early which is a plus.
Great rooms, excellent service, good location off of main freeway. We'll definitely stay here again in the future!
