It's a good hotel. A little outdated overall but serves it's purpose. It has a nice lobby area for kids. The rooms all have a mini fridge and microwave. The only downside is you hear everything that goes on outside your room. Bottom line, it serves its purpose for a quick weekend trip.
Loved this place!! It was perfect for my husband, son & I. We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite, and it was very nice & private for my husband and I. I like that there were doors separating the living room (where my son slept) and the bedroom. The pool & activities were all great! It will definitely keep your kid busy for a while. My 8 year old said it was the best hotel he ever stayed at! Also, the beds are extremely comfortable. What more could you ask for??
Cons? Trash constantly on the floors in lobby and play area... SUPER loud (uncontrolled) kids running all through the lobby/halls all day... bath tub is MAX 4" deep... Shower constantly leaked... bathroom is about the same size as our camper bathroom... could only visit the pool a couple times due to needing wrist bands, and a max of 5 for the 2 of us... one lamp didn't work
In short, my fiance won't be picking our hotel anymore. This is our first and absolute last stay here.
Absolutely awesomely friendly staff. Rooms are dated, but still VERY comfortable. Suites are extremely accommodating and functional. We have stayed at a few of these at different locations and this one is GREAT for little ones! The indoor playground helps with Texas heat/pop up storms, and the pool is indoor/outdoor. Drinks are a bit pricey but it's a hotel, what do you expect. The included breakfast is absolutely not a joke. It will keep you from eating the rest of the day. PHENOMENAL! Aside from the dated nature of the facility, and the price at the bar, I rank this place at the top 5 places I've stayed under $150.
Went to an event here. The staff was fantastic. Room was great. Great food. Super comfy beds. The connected indoor outdoor pool is awesome.
Pros? Indoor pool, Indoor putt putt, indoor play ground, LARGE smart tv in our king interior room... that's about it. We don't have children so I can't be a good source of info on cleanliness in play areas...
