DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is the most horrible place ever!!! First of all no one answered the bell nor the phone when we drove up to the motel about 1 am and there was someone already waiting to get help. He said he had been ringing the bell for a few minutes. After about 10 minutes, 2 men came from behind a partition or wall in the office to tend to the guest before us and us. Before we could even drive around to our room, those same two men were out walking in the parking lot. As we were making our way to our rooms, we noticed several people just out hanging around outside. Some were drinking, there was a whole lot of yelling and cussing, there were women walking around with no shoes on, one of them had an infant with her, there were people sitting in their cars. We found our rooms on the second floor in a corner of the building, the yelling and sounds of people walking up and down the stairs went on until I was finally able to fall asleep. I was awakened by more yelling and screaming @ 6:50 or 7 am. We got up to get dressed for the day. I started gathering my things because it was decided that we were not going to stay the second night, we had reserved the room for 2 nights. I threw back the covers of the bed I slept in to make sure I had all of my things, to my disgust and horror there was a blood stain on the cover I'd used. When we were leaving, there were those same women with no shoes on still walking around, another woman got kicked out of a room by a man. She was asking him to let her stay, he said no and closed the door. And, at the top of the stairs sitting in a chair right outside a room, was a heavily tattooed man with sunglasses on with at least a six pack of empty beer bottles at his side. DO NOT STAY HERE!! That is unless you fit into this kind of lifestyle. MOST HORRIBLE PLACE EVER!! Try the SLEEP Inn and Suites just down the street. Almost the same price and 1,000,000 times better.
We set the a/c to cool the room and finally left for dinner. When we got back, the room was hot and the a/c would not stay on. It was already close to 10pm. My husband called the front desk with our cell phone, no answer. He walked to the front desk and reported the problem. We waited for an hour before we called the office again. Finally, 2 maintenance guys arrived, they looked at the unit, told us to move the bed over it was blocking the airflow. The rooms were so small there was really no place to move the bed over. THAT DID NOT HELP ANYWAY. Still NO FIX. They kept trying to leave and it kept cutting off. They finally told us they could not put us in another room since they were full, but to get with the manager the next day and change our room since we were supposed to stay the next night too. Through the night we had to keep opening the door to let air in. It was horribly uncomfortable. The following morning we tried to speak to the manager. She wasn't in due to her husband being ill. We tried the next day, same thing. We finally reached her and she offered us an $18.00 discount off our stay. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! WE ARE IN WEST TEXAS WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!! She contacted her boss and he would only give us a $25.00 credit. END of Issue as far as their concerned.
No parking, rooms were filthy. Ended up driving to the job site and sleeping in the truck.
It's a good place to spend the night if necessary at a very rate in Odessa, since prices are outrageous in the area. But it seems to be used more as a apartment complex for the oilfield crews. I stayed 3 nights and it gets lively after 5 but dies down around 11. Room had the door that connected the rooms and neighbors liked to smoke weed which stunk up my room as well. Can tell rooms have been renovated so they look nice. Just wasn't feeling the environment
NO STARS DESERVED - WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! WE ARE IN WEST TEXAS WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING AND NO REFUND!!!! This motel is horrible. My husband and I stayed here on a business trip on October 24, 2017. We checked in and got our room. We had requested a downstairs room that they could not give us, so we walked upstairs to room 225. We saw there were all sorts of people hanging out everywhere outside the rooms. The room looked okay, but someone was cooking fish in a room adjacent to ours. IT STUNK HORRIBLY. The next issue was there was NO LIGHT BULB in one of the bedside lamps and there was no overhead light, so we needed the light. Next, there was NO REMOTE CONTROL for the TV. Normally, we would CALL THE FRONT DESK, BUT THERE WAS NO PHONE, so my husband went to the office, they sent a maintenance guy and he provided a light bulb and had to locate a remote that would operate the TV. This took approximately and hour of our paid time in their establishment.
Booked on hotwire. First room key wouldn't work 3 keys later they switched me to upstairs room. Got in room. Tv eas unhooked. Cable box was unhooked. Had to plug the cable box in and tv and connect the box to tv to even watch tv. 2nd bed was broke off frame. Good thing im only passing through wont book here again
DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!! They DON'T CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS.
I have never stayed at a motel with a serious problem like a broken A/C and not had the room taken care of by the management. Needless to say, we went to Studio Motel 6, I knew if there was any problem, they would take care of me.
